Very strong textile.
Brazilian hammocks are cotton fabric hammocks, handwoven for extreme comfort, durability and elegance. Original brazilian hammocks are made without spreader bars and are ornately fringed. They differ from Mayans or Nicaraguans in the respect that they are heavily woven offering high lifting capacity therefore creating a sense of security for sleeping and overnight use as well as being ideal for cooler climates.
Caraibeiras hammocks are weaved on wooden foot-treadle floor looms with brazilian, 100% cotton, thread. The following designs weight 2-2.2kg, have a weight capacity of 250 kgs, the bed dimensions are 150 x 250cm and the total length is 4 metres.
