Ceremonial "Na Drum " from Nepal

Length 90 cm  Diam. 37 Thick. 14 cm weight aprox 2.5 kg 

This two-sided hardwood ceremonial drum is typically used in processions, ritual dance and pujas; it is struck with a sickle-shaped drumstick. The drum-skin is hand painted and displays a triple-coloured 'wheel of joy' which represents Mt Meru.
